Welcome to the official website of the Las Vegas Pioneer Trail Foot Steps — where you will find the most comprehensive and accurate information on the Trail and its honorees. Enjoy exploring and learning more about the people who made Las Vegas a great City.  Get the news about upcoming ceremonies.  This is the only website sanctioned by the Ward 5 Chamber of Commerce, which administers the Pioneer Trail Foot Steps.

The Las Vegas Pioneer Trail  is an eight mile trail that travels through Las Vegas earliest gathering places.  With 16 historic places along the trail that runs from the Big Springs Preserve to the Mormon Fort, including the "Original Las Vegas" and  the Moulin Rouge.


 The  Ward 5 Chamber of Commerce  continues to  recognize Pioneering citizens,  historical firsts, civil rights leaders, entertainers, musicians, movies, celebrities, sports celebrities,  boxers, football, soccer, veterans, first res ponders,  historical firsts, education, science, technology , and business as the representative of the 

Pioneer Trail Corridor Revitalization Alliance.

 The  Pioneer Trail Footstep is a tribute to all of those who worked diligently to develop the concept and to maintain this historic attraction. The Pioneer Trail is open to the public. No paid admission or assigned seating at Footstep  ceremonies. It is understood that the cost of placing the name on the Pioneer Trail Footstep  upon approval is  ($TBD)  on the sponsor of the nominee accepts the responsibility for arranging for payment to the  Pioneer Trail Alliance,  administered by Harrison House, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.  The organization funds are used to pay for the creation/installation/maintenance  of the  footsteps and ceremony.
